Hours are free text written by each agency, so this app reads them and works out today's schedule in New York time. When it can't read them, or the listing is vague, the place is marked unsure rather than guessed. Most park restrooms are listed 8am–4pm, open later seasonally — after 4pm they show as unsure, because many stay open until dusk in warm months. Seasonal restrooms close in the colder months; the data doesn't give dates.
Cafés, stores and hotels aren't in the city's data. Starbucks limits restrooms to paying customers but lets you use one before you order. Big stores (Target, department stores) usually have customer restrooms near the back or upper floor.
All-gender means the listing includes at least one all-gender restroom — usually a single-stall room with a lock. Accessible means the agency rates it fully wheelchair accessible.
